Maria Teresa Santoro investiga o corpo nas interseções entre arte, linguagem, mídia e tecnologias contemporâneas. Sua pesquisa articula perspectivas da literatura, da semiótica e das estéticas tecnológicas, explorando modos de percepção, representação e experiência sensível.
Formou-se em Letras (Português e Literatura) em São Paulo e estudou Comunicação e Semiótica em São Paulo e Berlim, cidade onde vive atualmente.
Publica desde 1998, com trabalhos que incluem livros, ensaios e artigos em jornais, revistas e publicações acadêmicas. Sua produção atravessa diferentes formatos e campos, refletindo uma abordagem crítica e interdisciplinar.
Foi curadora do projeto “Geração Transterritorial”, que reuniu três exposições entre São Paulo e Colônia, explorando deslocamentos culturais e novas configurações identitárias.
